Top 5 slow – selling cars in Vietnam market in the first 3 months of 2017 are SUVs, including 4 models imported of Mitsubishi and Suzuki.
Mitsubishi Pajero (5 cars): According to the report of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the sales of Mitsubishi Pajero in the first 3 months of 2017 only reached 5 units. Despite the durability, the design is Pajero’s weakness compared to rivals such as the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado or the Ford Explorer.
Suzuki Grand Vitara (7 cars): With sales of 7 cars after 3 months, Suzuki Grand Vitara rank no 2 on top 5, after Mitsubishi Pajero. Despite its European stylish design and quality imported from Hungary, but Grand Vitara is not preferred by Vietnamese customers.
Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (14 vehicles): Along with Pajero, Outlander Sport is the second model of Mitsubishi struggling in Vietnam market.
